A Riddle

Who is the oldest man in the Bible?
Methuselah; he lived 969 years.
Yet he died before his father!
How can that be?
His father was Enoch.....
An interesting man
At age 65, something happened;
he then "walked with God" 300 years.....

 Let me explain you

Noah flood did not come suddenly.
Noah flood was predicted since four generations.
But when Enoch son was born, God said to him that till your son is alive the flood will not come on earth. Then he named his son Methuselah.

Methuselah is a Hebrew word. It contain two Hebrew words.

Methuselah

מוּת  Muth, a root means "death"
In Old Testament it is mention 125 times.
שלח Shalach, which means "to bring" or "to send forth"

Methuselah: 187
Lamech: 182
Noah: 600

From Methuselah to Noah God gave 782 years to repent.
After Methuselah death the flood came.
This was the prophecy.
